| - Spect (July 1990 – December 2011) was an experienced German Highscorer. He started taking highscores in May 2005, with his first 0th being on 80-3 (Full Circle). One of his scores, although not a 0th, won in the category of Highscore Run of the Year at the 2005 Dronie awards for his run on 11-4, in which he dodged a rocket that was right on his tail in a strange and interesting manner. It can be seen in userlevels demo format here. However, with the appearence of naem, crappitrash, and other cheaters, spect stopped highscoring.

It can be seen in userlevels demo format here. However, with the appearence of naem, crappitrash, and other cheaters, spect stopped highscoring. Spect was also ranked 17th on ska's list of most influential N players of all time He created a few maps, too. They typically have a Metanet style to them; i.e., they are usually ones that seem as though they were directly inspired by the design philosophies of Metanet. In his free time, he played piano and European handball. He posted several videos on YouTube of his piano-playing ability, which can be found here. Furthermore, he was pretty active in N IRC. Although he didn't talk very much, he was often reachable. He won third place in the Legacy: Origins contest, receiving a dedication map and a signature. His dedication map is My Bronze Bunny. On December 16, 2011, Toshosoft, a friend of spect's, reported that spect had committed suicide by jumping in front of a train. He was 21 years old. News of his death shocked the highscoring community and wider N community at large.
