Breakout is the third mode of Orb Defence. You start with 2 orbs. Breakout is widely considered the hardest of all Orb Defence levels. In the arena, you have 4 larger box's and 4 smaller ones. If you do manage to challenge Awesomeo he will spawn with a base Norb Strength of 85k, plus 20k for every remaining orb. Defeating Awesomeo is difficult, as you do not get as much energy as in other levels because of only 2 orbs. Since the addition of Gridlock and Orb Central, waves 71, 87 and 96 are more difficult to split.

If a player does manage to defeat the Ironos without losing an Orb, they have a very high chance of doing the seemingly impossible.
