Michelle Alexa Green (born 2nd November 1994) is an English singer-songwriter, dancer, actress and model. Her debut single "Fifteen" was released in early 2010 and peaked at Number 2 in the United Kingdom. Her second and third singles; 'Dark Days' and 'Red Symphony' topped the charts in 2010, making Michelle the youngest ever artist not only to top the UK singles charts but to have two consecutive No.1 singles (the exact acheivement held by Billie Piper for 11 years before Michelle). Her debut album 'The Voice Of Me' was released in April 2010. It peaked at No.1 on the Chart Heat Albums on two separate occasions, spawned three Top 2 singles and sold over 7 million copies. The second single from 'Exiled' was 'Soldier', it became her biggest selling single to date and peaked at No.2 in the UK. Michelle is often credited for her live perfomance style and her impressive vocal range. In 2011 Michelle was diagnosed with kidney cancer and is still currently battling the disease. She also became an ambassador for MacMillan Cancer Support and Cancer Research UK. Green also hospitalised herself in October 2011 after she overdosed on paracetamol due to the stress she was suffering from caused by the cancer, her album promotion and her rocky relationship with close friend, Kato. Michelle released her second album 'Exiled' in October 2011 and it has been met with positive reviews. A new version; Exiled: Platinum Edition will be released in February 2012. The album will include 'Take Me Down' She took part in the 2012 series of Charity Celebrity Big Brother and subsequently finished in 3rd place.
