The Mercedes F1 W01 was a Formula One racing car built by Mercedes for the 2010 Formula One season. This was the first time that Mercedes would be entering as a constructor since the 1955 season. The team's drivers for the 2010 season were seven times world champion Michael Schumacher and Nico Rosberg. The MGP W01 was unveiled on January 25, 2010 at the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart, Germany. The car was based on a Brawn BGP 001 chassis following the team's purchase of the championship-winning Brawn GP of 2009.
