Morazis was once a world held by the ancient Sith, millennia before the events surrounding the Jedi Civil War. The world itself was hot and dry, consisting primarily of desert with a fairly small percentage of water on the surface. Morazis itself is riddled with mystery, with hardly any of the planet itself explored. What was left to be discovered, if anything, was still anyone's guess.

abstract
  • Morazis was once a world held by the ancient Sith, millennia before the events surrounding the Jedi Civil War. The world itself was hot and dry, consisting primarily of desert with a fairly small percentage of water on the surface. At some point between Darth Revan's finding of the Star Forge and the death of Darth Malak, a large army of Sith Troopers were encased in carbonite, with a single Dark Jedi Master to guard and lead them. The reasons for this were unknown, but it was speculated by Darth Trayus upon his finding of the army that they were placed on the world before a previous Sith's fall, in hopes of utilizing it at a future date. He left it to mystery whether that Sith intended to return, or to help out an eventual successor. Morazis itself is riddled with mystery, with hardly any of the planet itself explored. What was left to be discovered, if anything, was still anyone's guess. Darth Trayus would, after the Battle of Taylon have a vision of an ancient Sith temple he thought to be on the surface of Morazis. However, it was later discovered by the Sith Lord that the temple was either not on the world, or hidden well enough to not be detected by his probe droids. Unwilling to give up on the search for this temple's location, Trayus remained unaware of just how important Morazis was yet to be in his war.
