Shuichi Ishiwata (Kanji 石綿 周一, Hiragana いしわた しゅういち, Romaji Ishiwata Shuuichi) is a Japanese Illustrator and cartoonist, and also a former member of Dynamic Production. He debuted in 1979 with the comic book Sayonara Ganpeki Sensei published in Akita Shoten's magazine Weekly Shonen Champion. Many of his known works are credited with his pen name of Panchos Ishiwata (パンチョス石綿). He also has used his name, Suichi Ishiwata, written with different Japanese characters (いしわた 周一, いしわた 修一) as aliases. He has almost disappeared from the comic book world since 2002.
