  • The SoroSuub ELG-3A blaster pistol is a spin-off of Merr-Sonn's popular Q2 model. SoroSuub elongated the barrel of the Q2 to improve the range while maintaining the weight of a holdout blaster. They also tuned the focusing ring to deliver better stun damage than other blasters of its size. The end result was the ELG-3A. Because of their discreet size, the ELG-3A became popular with political operatives, and was commonly known as the "Diplomat's Blaster". The Naboo civilian population and the royal figures use them. They are also standard issue on Naboo Royal Cruisers and Starships. They are of a small size and can be hidden in small spaces, like the throne of the Queen in the royal throne room. It is a very simple but elegant weapon. This smooth weapon is a pulse firing weapon that is considered light next to the Security S-5 Blaster used by the Security staff. But a direct hit at the right place could be fatal.
