As a result, Veronica has the Black Sedan car that Wyatt used when he committed a hit-and-run and manslaughter and used it to blackmail Jeffrey for being an accomplice if he does not become straight, this cause David to move out of their house until Veronica changes her ways and he later starts an affair with Jim's campaign manager, Maggie.
