Mion is the oldest classmate in Keiichi's class and is the twin sister of Shion Sonozaki. As the elder, she is the class president and everyone looks up to her as the leader. La prima è un personaggio di basso rilievo nella serie: si tratta dell'unico personaggio a non impazzire o uccidere mai, ma anche quella che viene presa di mira un sacco di volte da chi invece detiene il primo primato. La seconda invece, è la terribile mano (priva di tre unghie per una scommessa con la nonna a poker) dietro a molti dei cruenti omicidi che accadono nel tranquillo (?) villaggio di Inamizawa, anche se... dovendo essere sinceri... solo una volta. In fondo, quella dopo tutti sono resuscitati, non ricordano nulla e lei neanche si vede.
