| - The Draco III Independence League was an Insurrectionist organization on the colony of Draco III. Formed in 2507, the League initially attempted to overthrow the government of Draco III by violent means However, after several fighters attempted to assassinate the colony's president in 2523, the organization, fearing it would lose its popular support, publicly disavowed violence, although it did continue to keep an armed force of fighters and did not hesitate to use blackmail, bribes, or other unscrupulous means to get politicians to do what the League wanted.

While the group mostly stayed undercover during the Human-Covenant War, many members helped evacuate or hide civilians from the Covenant during the Battle of Draco III. In the aftermath of the war, when the United Rebel Front attempted to take control of Draco III, the League were some of the first to fight back. However, as untrained militia, they were no match for Captain Ingridson's commandos, and were killed or forced to retreat. Although the Independence League faded away after 2554, many members went on to continue advocating for Draconian independence, including Albert Tills, who at the age of seventy two, became the oldest representative in the Draconian legislature.
