Clare and Grenfell Drive is a group of eight four-bedroom terraced houses built for a private developer in Birmingham. They are in two rows of four which are approached separately by cul-de-sac roads terminating in entrance courts enclosed by old brick walls on the north and east boundaries. The terraces are at right angles to eachother and face south and west across a gently sloping communal green to the road below. The accommodation includes a large living dining area, a study workroom, and an en-suite bathroom off the master bedroom. Upon completion in 1964, they were considered one of the most attractive groups of houses in the city.
