LaVern Earl Torgeson (born February 28, 1929 in LaCrosse, Washington) is a former American football linebacker who played for seven seasons with the Detroit Lions and the Washington Redskins from 1951 to 1957 in the National Football League. He attended Washington State University. Torgerson was later an assistant coach for George Allen and the Washington Redskins.
