Desolich later works on causing a plague that would turn all dragons into Dracolichs. After the players have slain the Avatar of Desolich, Desolich goes inert and his body disappears into a Chaos Portal upon being withdrawn by Drakath. During the final battle with Drakath, Desolich partakes in the battle against the player and their allies.

After the players have slain the Avatar of Desolich, Desolich goes inert and his body disappears into a Chaos Portal upon being withdrawn by Drakath. During the final battle with Drakath, Desolich partakes in the battle against the player and their allies. Sometime after Drakath's defeat, Desolich resurfaces and invades Battleon with an army of Blood Dracolich, Chaos Dracolich, Deluge Dracolich, Granite Dracolich, Inferno Dracolich, and Tempest Dracolich. After besting Chaos Fluffy, the players head to Desolich's location where X'Dir has re-allied with Desolich. Despite standing their ground against Desolich, the players are told by Desolich that the Dracoliches that he sent to Battleon were just a martyr for his next plans. In the Chaos Realm, Drakath is shown to have prepared some defenses for his lair in case Desolich plans his revenge on him.
