  • The Trinity in the TCG and OCG consists of the following three cards: * "Delinquent Duo" * "Graceful Charity" * "Pot of Greed" These cards are known as such due to their ability to allow the Turn Player to gain massive Card Advantage. In fact, they are banned in the Advanced Format for this very reason. The other "Trinity" is a set of three spell cards that, if all three were in your opening hand, would cause the opponent to start with only one card in their hand (two after he draws his first card in his/her turn). This makes the turn player that draws them gain massive advantage. The first card of this "Trinity" to get forbidden was "The Forceful Sentry with the April 2005 Forbidden List. In September 2007, the last card of this "Trinity" (Confiscation) was put on the Forbidden List. * "Confiscation" * "Delinquent Duo" * "The Forceful Sentry" In the Anime and Manga, The Trinity refers to "Kazejin", "Suijin", and "Sanga of the Thunder", which are the three monsters needed to summon "Gate Guardian". Later on it was used to refer to "Obelisk the Tormentor", "Slifer the Sky Dragon", and "The Winged Dragon of Ra", also known as the "Egyptian God" cards.
  • The Trinity is a trio of goddesses in Skullgirls. They are Venus Lovelace, Aeon, and their mother. They have a a church dedicated to them called the Grand Cathedral (which is also a fighting stage in the game). Many people come to the church to give their confessions, tithes, and so on. Because the Trinity are females, people will say "Goddess-speed" to anyone who could use luck. However, they are the ones who created the Skull Heart, hoping to turn the ladies of the Canopy Kingdom into Skullgirls, so they could use them to destroy the world. Marie, however, has a strong heart, so she couldn't be controlled by the Skull Heart, leaving her to continue her own mission to destroy the Medici Mafia for messing with her and Peacock. The Trinity did not accept this and wanted Double to take her down. Parasoul and Double worship them with their inverted cross necklaces. Double calls them "masters". In Valentine's story, she intends to put an end to them and their plans of destruction. She wishes to become a Skullgirl not only to atone for turning Carol into Painwheel, but also to get a better look at them. She is hoping that her research will help the Labs in the future to bring them down for good. It is unknown as to why The Trinity wants to destroy the world.

  • The Trinity is the doctrine that The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit are distinct persons, yet are all one divine supreme being, God. The word comes from tri + unity, loosely meaning three in one. The word Trinity, and explicit descriptions of the Trinity, are absent from the Bible. It is a doctrine that logically follows from the implications of the Scriptures. All three persons are treated as God by various people, including Themselves. Yet Judaism, of which Christianity is the ultimate fulfillment, holds as its central doctrine the singleness of God, that no other gods pre-exist Him, and that no other gods actually exist. Therefore, there must be some way in which the three persons are three, and some other way in which They are one. Those who believe this doctrine are called Trinitarians. The Trinity is also known as the Godhead. The Trinity is a historical doctrine of the church, and disavowal of this doctrine is considered a heresy. The three persons of the Godhead are all equally and inseparably God. This is usually held as a mystic truth within the Church, and a logical paradox by those who do not believe it. This paradox, however, is easily resolved. According to Trinitarian doctrine, God is one in nature or essence, yet three persons, "nature" and "person" being separate categories, even as three human persons all share a common humanity. The wording "persons" is usually used in the sense of two individuals who can speak to one another. For example, "Let Us make man in Our own image," or, "Nevertheless, let not my will be done, but Thine."

But when Tom and Alex decide to set him free, Hal’s wracked by uncertainty…can he control his bloodlust? Things get complicated with the return of Mr Rook, the shady figure whose government department protects the world from supernaturals. Having been fired from the café, Hal and Tom find new employment at the Barry Grand Hotel, home to poisonous pensioner Captain Hatch (Phil Davis). Unknown to our trio, his decrepit exterior hides an ancient evil that threatens not only their friendship but also the entire world.
