Karen Wamocha was a Solarian citizen and an agent of the Axelrod Corporation. In 1533 PD, she was the manager of an underground research facility on the planet Beowulf. When one of her analysts, Luther Luangpraseut, informed her that he had found indicators for the existence of a wormhole junction in the Manticore System, she instantly promoted him by two pay levels and had him moved to an office closer to her own. Aware that the information he discovered could prove extremely valuable, she put his project under the "Black Dagger" protocol, restricting the information to Luangpraseut, herself, and the Board. Once this was done, she composed an encrypted letter to the company headquarters on Earth. (MA1)
