  • Charles Edward Stuart, also known as Bonnie Prince Charlie, (31 December 1720 – 31 January 1788) was a Human male who lived during the 18th century. He was the second Jacobite pretender to the thrones of England, Scotland and Ireland. He instigated the unsuccessful Jacobite uprising of 1745, which ended in defeat with the Battle of Culloden on 16 April 1746. His supporters styled him as "King Charles III of Great Britain." In 2268, when considering a time travel mission back to the 1960s, Montgomery Scott thought that he would enjoy a trip to see Stuart's uprising or Isambard Kingdom Brunel's Great Western Railway. (DTI novel: Forgotten History) In 2273, Scott's wish came true when Weyland sent him back in time to 1746 and he briefly met Bonnie Prince Charlie. He attempted to warn the Prince of the Jacobites' ultimate defeat at the Battle of Culloden. However, the Prince found his dire predictions amusing and chose to ignore him. Scotty later participated in the battle and was wounded in his side. Weyland returned him to the USS Enterprise shortly thereafter. (TOS novel: Home is the Hunter)
