- Super Mario 3D World is a platform game in the Super Mario game series devolped by Nintendo EAD Tokyo released on Wii U. Released November 22, 2013 in North America, Nov 21, in Japan, Nov 26, in South America, Nov 29 in Europe, and Nov 30 in Austraila. It is a sequel to 2011's Super Mario 3D Land .
- The story starts with Mario and crew taking an evening stroll when they discover a clear pipe. After the Mario Bros. fix it, a green fairy-like creature called a Sprixie pops out and says that her Sprixie friends have been captured. Out of nowhere, Bowser comes out of the pipe and grabs the fairy in a bottle. The four of them chase after him into the pipe leading them to Sprixie Kingdom where they must stop Bowser and rescue the 7 Sprixies from his clutches.
- Super Mario 3D World is the first game in the Super Mario 3D series to include multiplayer. Playable characters are Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Blue Toad. Their abilities are similar to those from the original Super Mario Bros. 2. Mario has the standard run and jump capability. Luigi jumps higher with a flutter kick. Peach can float in the air, and Blue Toad runs faster than the rest.

So gibt es auch einen Mehrspielermodus, in dem neben Mario auch Luigi, Toad, Peach und sogar Rosalina gespielt werden kann. Man kann auch im Einzelspielermodus zwischen diesen Charakteren wählen.
