The BME Pain Olympics are a set of shock videos released by BME, short for Body Modification E-zine, beginning in 2002. These videos consist in a contest of genital mutilation, showing different people mutilating, burning, electrocuting and dilating each other's genitals, hence the name 'Pain Olympics'. It was later confirmed that these videos were not real. Shannon Larratt, creator of the BME Pain Olympics, has died of a rare muscle disease on March 15th 2013, at age 39.
