Each upgrade increases your cart space by 10s but subsequent upgrades increases in price by one medal each time (the first upgrade costs 1 medal, the second cost 2 medals, etc.). In Elona+ it costs platinum coins to upgrade the cart instead of small medals, though the text still says small medal. Upgrades are priced in increments of 10 platinum coins instead of 1 small medal. Currently, a bug prevents the actual cost from increasing past 75 coins; though Miral's dialogue will continue to show the correct rate, only 75 will be deducted. Note: the Shield Tonfa, Sage's Helm, and Diablo cannot be reacquired through small medals; a second purchase will instead net you a randomly-generated artifact shield, helm, or sword, respectively.
