Trent was also nominated for an Emmy for his contribution to the 2000 TV movie The Crossing. Outside of Star Trek, Jerry and Audrey Trent worked together on such films as Mr. Destiny, Guilty by Suspicion (starring Roxann Dawson), Sneakers, Bebe's Kids, and Clifford. Jerry and Chris Trent collaborated on such films as U-571, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003), Frank Miller's Sin City, Ladder 49, The Punisher (2004), and two films starring Anton Yelchin – House of D and Alpha Dog. All three Trents worked together on the films The Only Thrill, Family Plan, and She's All That, along with numerous other Star Trek sound department members. Trent's many other film credits include Friday the 13th (and several of that film's sequels), The Hitcher, Alien Nation, Dead Poets Society, Field of Dreams, Tremors, Pretty Woman, The Mask, Legally Blonde, and Grandma's Boy. Television shows he worked on outside of Star Trek include Magnum, P.I., William Shatner's T.J. Hooker, L.A. Law, Moonlighting, McGyver, Baywatch, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, The Practice, and Numb3rs. More recent work as foley artist include the television series State of the Union (2009) and Sid the Science Kid (2008-2009) and the horror thriller Neowolf (2010), and the Breaking Bad spin off Better Call Saul(2016).
