  • Feign Death is a rogue talent from the Dirty Fighting tree in Dragon Age: Origins.
  • Feign Death is a hunter ability learned at level 32. It causes the hunter to appear dead. The hunter loses all aggro, which causes the enemy to stop attacking them and either flee back to its "territory", attack the hunter's pet, or attack whomever has the next highest threat. This skill is not always successful because nearby enemies do have a chance based on your relative level to resist this effect.
  • Feign Death is an Ability that allows a player to fake their death and regain health. Feign Death can only occur if the player is hurt almost to the point of being incapacitated (down and needing the other players help) feign death can be attempted more than once but enemies won't usually fall for this trick after the first attempt. When one of the players feign death they are no longer targeted by enemies (unless they feign death more than once) and then their partner is targeted resulting in automatic full aggro.
  • The user can appear dead to all/every manner of detecting their state, altering the physical evidence surrounding their alleged death to make it appear real, for example medical equipment will malfunction and show that the user is dead. This allows them to lull their enemies into a false sense of security and evade pursuit.
  • Feign Death is a perk from TORN, a canceled fantasy game using the SPECIAL system.
  • Full: Play dead, causing all enemies to cease attacking you. This skill ends when you move. Concise: Play dead. All enemies cease attacking. Ends when you move. __TOC__
  • Feign Death is a special ability for the Sneeker in which they lay on the ground and pretend to be dead. Bots are usually dumb enough to fall for it, but feigning death in the middle of a driveway can get Sneekers killed quickly.
  • [[Category:]] Feign death was a necromancy spell that allowed one creature touched by the caster to temporarily fall into a state indistinguishable from death.
  • Casting Time: 1 action Range: Touch Components: V, S, M (a pinch of graveyard dirt) Duration: 1 hour You touch a willing creature and put it into a cataleptic state that is indistinguishable from death. For the spell’s duration, or until you use an action to touch the target and dismiss the spell, the target appears dead to all outward inspection and to spells used to determine the target’s status. The target is blinded and incapacitated, and its speed drops to 0. The target has resistance to all damage except psychic damage. If the target is diseased or poisoned when you cast the spell, or becomes diseased or poisoned while under the spell’s effect, the disease and poison have no effect until the spell ends.
  • It allows the player to fall on the floor, imitating death in order to escape a monster. After some time, the monster aggro is reset and it walks away. When the monster is out of aggro range, the player can stand up safely. Feigning death can be interrupted if the monster started casting a detrimental spell on the player before he started to feign death. It may also be broken by AoE spells landing on the player feigning death. It's also commonly used by necromancers during a group or raid fight in order to reduce their aggro on the monster being fought.
