I've got this idea about a Christian liturgy wiki. It might help to explain that I'm a priest in the Church of England. There are a few websites that provide resources for worship planning: Bible texts, prayers, hymns, pictures and so forth. However, none of these are wikis: they are not collaborative. Most mainstream western churches use a similar calendar, and many now have the same set of readings for each Sunday. I thought it would be a great idea to provide this kind of resource to people preparing worship in wiki format. I had thought about creating a separate wiki, but was redirected here. So, what do you think about setting up a liturgy resource sub-section on this wiki? Gareth Hughes 08:51, 17 Mar 2005 (EST)

Gareth Hughes 09:32, 21 Mar 2005 (EST) It's good, Gareth. I like it. Feel free to structure. You got the idea of this wiki it seems to me. I am very busy with noding wikilandia and have little time for this wiki, sry. There are also two dozens of other wikis I try to care for and: creating a new wiki a day keeps the doctor away;). Just go as you please, respecting diversity and keeping the big idea big. Consider making an own liturgy-wiki: wiki-node and liturgy-wiki: wiki-forum here.
