  • Beatrice Kristen Washton (born 9 November 1970) is the second and current Vice President of the Allied States and a member of the Confederate Party. Prior to joining Timothy Mac as his running mate, Washton served as a member of the Iowa state legislature and a small-time attorney. Washton was born in Ames, Iowa on 9 November 1970 and attended Ames High School. After school Washton attended the University of Iowa and majored in law, which led to her starting a small law firm back in Ames. Shortly afterward, Washton took interest in politics and eventually was elected to the Iowa House of Representatives. Slightly into her second term in the House, Timothy Mac nominated her as his running mate for the 2010 emergency election. Washton was hesitant at first, questioning Mac's involvement in the 2010 attempted coup, however, as proven by a postwar commission, Mac had no involvement. Washton, at the time, had been a longstanding member of the Conservative Victory Party, which, mere days before the election, turned into the Confederate Party, much to Washton's protest. The duo only had 4 days to campaign, thus it was mostly televised; however, they won the election, making Washton the second Vice President of the Allied States, after Deven Carlson. Since the election, Washton, along with Mac, has been viewed as a largely absent Vice President, not appearing in public nearly as much as her predecessor nor taking part in politics other than her day to day work as Vice President. Besides that, most critics claimed that her absence was in no way a vice, as stability and development was what they alleged the Allied States needed, and "not another overeager greedy idiot."
