Ted Morris (died 17th May 1988) appeared on Coronation Street in five roles: * Bus conductor Charlie in February 1961 * Harry Pegg in June 1965 * George Ashworth in March 1966 * Bookies clerk Ted Loftus, who appeared intermittently between January 1969 and May 1978 * Mr Prendergast in March 1987. He also appeared in an episode of the Street spin-off Pardon the Expression. His other credits include Crossroads and The Villains. He spent many years in repertory theatre, playing parts at Bilston in Staffordshire, the Oldham Coliseum and the Nottingham Playhouse.
