The Assault on Kamino was a battle in the Bothan War and was the first battle to feature Jedi Knights fighting on the side of the Core Systems Alliance. Kamino was chosen as the target of the invasion due to its revived cloning industry. After lying dormant for centuries, Prime Minister Fenn He revived the business that Kamino had been famous for 1400 years ago. The Kaminoans had began to make an army and if it was completed, it could destroy the CSA and its allies. The attack would be led by the Wookiee Jedi Master Dichukk and involved 100 Jedi complementing the Core Army. The defending Bothan army was outnumbered and outfought, leading to the loss of the strategic world. With its first major victory on the Bothan Front, the momentum of the war was now on the side of the CSA.
