In later years, she was the editor of the left-leaning daily newspaper, The Current. She married Sebastian Aksenova in 2072. Following the Grand Mexican War, The Current ended its publication, and she transitioned to radio. In 2090, she ran for Governor of Newport, easily defeating Lauren Barlow.
