  • Lelīmuyāńi, also called in various other names — natively heytn Lilymuiñ gi [ɦɛi̯tn ɴ̆iɴ̆ʉu̯mũĩ̯.i] "language of Lelīmuyāńa" or by other names; also frequently in Laceyiam Lelīmuyāńi hėnna — is a Chlegdarim language, descendant of Classical Laceyiam, spoken in most areas in Southeastern Laltīmāhia, including - but not strictly limited to - the historical region of Lelīmuyāńa, that is, eastern Leitāvaja diocese and the far southernmost part of Lanturlīṭa diocese. Like all daughter languages of Laceyiam, it is used as a vernacular among people of its native area, in a state of diglossia with Laceyiam itself (the Laltīmāhei hėnna, or heytn Lø̂:tmui. gi). Among all daughter languages of Laceyiam, Lelīmuyāńi is particular because of its early origin: it evolved in the areas where Laceyiam itself had evolved, starting at a time when most of Laltīmāhia hadn't even been discovered by the Chlegdarims, and as such it is an isolate among the Chlegdarim languages. It is one of only two tonal languages (the other being its northern neighbour, the Nanaihėnna) not just among the Chlegdarim languages but in the whole Cis-Tahianshima family.
