- Stormwind city je hlavné mesto ľudí ležiace na severe Elwynn Forest. Počas Prvej vojny bolo dobyté hordou, no po Druhej vojne ho ľudia získali späť a začali ho renovovať. V Stormwind Keep sídli kráľ ľudí Varian Wrynn. Je tu všetko, čo má každé hlavné mesto mať - mailbox, aukciu, banku, trénerov a obchodníkov. Najnovšie mesto slúži aj ako prístav, odkiaľ sa dá loďou dostať do Auberdine v Darkshore a do Valiance keep v Borean Tundra. Delí sa na 10 veľkých častí: Cathedral Square, Dwarven District, Kanály, Mage Quarter, Old Town, The Park, Stormwind Harbor, Stormwind Keep, Trade District a Valley of Heroes.
