  • The Republic Tarisian Archival Database, was an initiative sponsored by the Galactic Republic by the time of the Cold War. It was a well funded operation on Taris with the intention of finding the world's archives. These were created by the planetary government to preserve their culture and knowledge in the event of a disaster engulfing Taris. During the Cold War, Archivist Wintag was involved in the Re-TAD project where she had been working on it for years. Ultimately, they managed to pinpoint the location of the archive within the old city. However, the region was infested with Rakghouls that prevented anyone from approaching the site. This led to Wintag offering a financial reward to any Republic spacer who was able to recover the archive.
