The Vegetarian Sector is the part of the Jurassic Quadrant that is home to the plant-eating dinosaurs, including Teggs, Arx, Gipsy and Iggy, the main protagonists of the Astrosaurs series. The DSS or Dinosaur Space Service supervises and protects most of the worlds there, but many more are independent, like Ankylos and Steggos, homes of the ankylosaurus and stegosaurus respectively. The majority of Astrosaurs books begin in this part of space when the crew of the Sauropod recieves their latest mission from the DSS's wise leader, Admiral Rosso the barosaurus. The Vegmeat Zone divides plant-eater space from the Carnivore Sector, which is (for the most part-there are exceptions to this rule) considered hostile. Planets in the Vegetarian Sector include Corytho, Diplox, Steggos, Kentros, Iguano
