- Red Spike Buzzies, sometimes called R. S. Buzzies, are enemies that appeared in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. These are more powerful versions of the Spike Top. These little guys, unlike their original forms, have a red shell rather than the blue one. This plays well with the original Spike Top design from Super Mario World as well as the one from Paper Mario. These enemies are one of the many teams in the Glitz Pit. In being so, it can be difficult to obtain the tattle information if Mario fails to do so earlier.
