Broadway enthusiasts, meanwhile, might recognize her from the original cast of the Stephen Sondheim-Harold Prince musical, Company, where she originated the role of Sarah and was nominated for a Tony award for Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Musical. It is also probably known to those that her late husband was Jay Harnick, the brother of Sheldon Harnick, who wrote the lyrics to musicals like Fiddler on the Roof, She Loves Me, and The Apple Tree.
