HistoryText
  • Walter was a sickeningly obsequious robo-servant from Mega-City One, the first robot ever to be granted his freedom . However, Walter had no use for freedom; all he wanted was to serve his hero Judge Dredd, who duly took him on. He eventually left Dredd's service after being seriously damaged by Dredd's enemy Mean Angel. Walter set up his own business selling used robots, something Dredd considered morally dubious. Still obsessed with Dredd, Walter eventually snapped and tried to kill him for his dismissive treatment over the years. He was sentenced to thirty years' imprisonment but was released during a robot revolution. Surrendering to Dredd in the aftermath, he was paroled and now lives with Mrs. Gunderson, former landlady of Judge Death.
