Edwin John Aldrick (1867-1952) was a businessman and local politician active in the Poplar area London. Born in Swindon, Wiltshire, he moved to London where he became the proprietor of a laundry business in South Acton and of Atlas Chemical Works in Millwall. He became a member of Poplar Borough Council, and served as Mayor of Poplar in 1912-13. He left London, and by the 1930s was living in Cheltenham, where he died in 1952 aged 85.
