- A legendary cryptid from the Congo River basin, it is said to be a species of surviving sauropods.
- The Mokele-Mbembe is a large monster which dwells near the Congo River of Africa. Many expeditions have been led to the Congo in search of the beast, but without success. The Mokele-Mbembe is a very large territorial herbivore, around the size of a small elephant, similar to the Loch Ness Monster. It is said to live in Lake Tele and surrounds, preffering deep water and river bends.
