The Metroid 2002 manga depicted the symbol as an oval with a black almond-shaped eye in the middle and three lines on either side of it, as well as one below it. In Metroid Prime 2: Echoes and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, the symbol resembles a Federation Marine armorsuit's visor, colored yellow. Metroid: Other M depicts it as a gold cross over a blue circle, with 3 lines encircling it. It can be seen on the interface of the Bioweapon Research Center computer and on the chestplate of the Power Suits worn by the 07th Platoon. The latter is not unlike the green arrow symbol on the chestplate of Samus Aran's basic Power Suit. This design is featured as part of the logo in Metroid Prime: Federation Force, as well, making it the current canon logo.
