In Norse mythology, Saehrimnir (properly spelled Sæhrímnir) was a giant boar who was killed by Andhrimnir, the cook of the Aesir (Norse gods) and cooked in the magical cauldron Eldhrimnir. It was used to feed the Einherjar. It would resurrect the next day every day after it was killed. The choice for Tiger is odd since Saehrimnir was a boar. A Bugard or Wivre might have been more mythologically appropriate. Saehrimnir is Norse for “the blackened”.
