Star Wars Elite Series was a toy line created by Disney and sold exclusively through the Disney Store, starting in 2015. It features 6-inch tall, mostly metal, die cast action figures of characters from all of the live action films to date. The line premiered at Disney's D23 convention in 2015 as a boxed set of eight figures limited to only five hundred sets. Individual figures first became available on "Force Friday", September 4th of that year, the official release day for Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
