The Ongoing Crusade of Fire and Lies was a campaign of the Devil Tigers during the Victorian conquest of the Asian nations. Believing that only a Yama King could have lent the Western civilizations the power to subdue the Middle Kingdom and its inhabitants, many of the Adepts of the Searing Wind began searching for this elusive being, although the August Body remained skeptical. The theory was based entirely on a rather literal study of the Bible, and so, many Devil Tigers began to search for Za-tan’s hell of fire and torment or searched in their own libraries for evidences of a similar Yama King. Some even captured Hellfire Club members to interrogate them, although many of their victims had never even thought about Satan.

It can be assumed that the crusade died down when no demonic evidence was found behind the Western invasion.
