Burning Spray is a spell available from Geneforge 3 onwards (in Geneforge 2 this spell was called Acid Spray.) It requires 10 Spell Energy and 1 Essence to cast. When casted on an enemy, this spell drenches the enemy in acid (poison in Geneforge 5). The spell does not deal any damage on its first turn. The spell Acid Shower uses the same mechanics, yet attacks all enemies around the caster. It is fairly uncommon for players to use this spell unless in boss fights. In this case, players opt to use Acid Shower as minions are usually summoned by bosses.
