The Float is mischievous card, but also gentle, so it was no trouble to capture. It is under The Windy. The Float is released in Episode 15, where it starts levitating everything in a child's room, even the child herself. Cerberus finds the card and notifies Sakura of it's whereabouts via fax. Sakura arrives just in time to capture Float before it took the girl up past the atmosphere, but the girl starts the fall and Sakura cushions her fall with The Wood. Float was then used in Episode 17 to cross a chasm in the cave to where The Erase was. The Float is transformed into a Sakura Card in Episode 57 when Sakura fell into the darkness of the hole Eriol formed on the elevator wall. She transformed Float mid-fall and used it to return to Syaoran, who was also in the elevator when Eriol stopped it with magic.

In the anime, Cerberus discovers Float when it starts levitating objects in the room of a little girl who had taken him in, including the girl, Akane, herself. Unfortunately, strong winds causing the Float to be blown away, high up into the air. As a result, it caused Akane to almost be blown into the upper atmosphere. Cerberus had contacted Sakura previously via a fax machine, and she arrives just in time to seal Float away before it floats Akane above the atmosphere (Episode 15). Akane starts falling as a result, but Sakura uses Wood to cushion her descent. Float is also used two episodes later, to get to the Erase Card lying at the other side of the cave. Float is used again in episode 36 to help Sakura and Syaoran float above the snow that was summoned by The Snow Card. Float's visible form resembles a large, vertically-striped, pink balloon with white wings. In Card form, it is white, connected to a small basket with the typical, red-jeweled 'Clow wings', possibly representing a hot-air balloon. Float was transformed during Episode 57, when Sakura fell into darkness. She used it to stop her fall and return herself to the floor of the elevator. Float is under Windy.

The Float is a massive, floating temple-like castle that was left behind by the Meta-God to be used to call out to Him as a beacon if His experiment that was life on Earth ever went aery and needed to be disposed of, thus acting as signal for the apocalypse. In the game Shadow Hearts, it is stated that the world as we know it was created by forces catalyzed by a being referred to as Meta-God, an Outer God mistaken for the Judeo-Christian God due to His role creating the planet. Meta-God not only helped forge the planet He imposed evolutionary guidelines and the outlines of sentience that the human race would eventually achieve. However "God" had no particular interest or love for His creations, instead seeing them as little more than an experiment and left Earth shortly after His guidelines were imposed. Before leavening though God left behind a complex living fortress, The Float. The ancient Druids sensed God had left from a specific point on Earth, and to honor it, built what they considered a holy site on it, "Neam" which meant "Float". Neam was eventually consecrated by Saint Daniel Scoutus who considered the ancient Druid magics unholy, and upon his death, Scoutus was buried on Neam upon which a great tomb and later a monastery was built, a structure retitled Nemeton Monastery.
