Something in Faith was broken by these trials, resulting in the girl being promiscuous, fearful of true intimacy, arguably a borderline personality. Needless to say, Faith Lehane was a very troubled young woman.

She would though-out her teens have nightmares about being chased by vampires and the death of an ancient slayer named Artemia at the hands of The Father who is also known as the vampire master Kakistos.
