Jamsil Baseball Stadium (잠실 야구장) is a baseball stadium in Jamsil 1-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul, South Korea. The stadium holds 27,000 people and was built from April 1980 to July 1982. It makes up the Jamsil Sports Complex along with the nearby Seoul Olympic Stadium, and hosted the baseball events during the 1988 Summer Olympics. It is the home of the LG Twins and Doosan Bears in the KBO. The area of Jamsil Baseball Stadium is 26,331m^2, and has one basement level. It is three stories high with a center-field distance of 125m, and foul line distances of 100m. The stadium has 59 entrances, consisting of 49 inner gates and 10 outer gates. The parking lot has room for 2,200 cars to park, plus there are satellite lots. The stadium can be reached with subway line 2 or buses. There is a nursing room

Jamsil Baseball Stadium was renovated in 2007, at the cost of about 1.5 billion KRW. The grass on the field was replaced, drains were installed, and sprinklers were upgraded to prevent heavy rain damage. Tickets prices range from 4,000 to 50,000 KRW. Since the stadium is 30 years old, many people demand teams to build new stadiums as baseball has become more popular. When they first built the stadium, a builder didn't assign enough space for stores and restaurants, so some of the cafeterias are still in temporary buildings. But due to the budget, Seoul and the two teams are still discussing building a new stadium.
