His other credits include roles in Roger Roger, Peak Practice, North Square, Clocking Off, Always and Everyone, Keen Eddie, Cutting It, Primeval, CHAOS, New Tricks, Death in Paradise, Midsomer Murders, Defiance, Cucumber and the films Kevin & Perry Go Large, Phoenix Blue, Nailing Vienna and It's Alive, while on stage he has appeared in productions of The Ideal Husband and The Shape of Things.
  • James Murray is a puppeteer. He alongside Kevin Carlson and Dina Fraboni created The Adventures of Timmy the Tooth.
  • Murray assisted Tyler Bunch as Bongo, in the pilot episodes for the Henson Alternative production Late Night Buffet. Outside of the Muppets, Murray and fellow puppeteer Kevin Carlson, produced, wrote, performed, and built puppets for the direct to video series The Adventures of Timmy the Tooth, and he was a series regular on Greg the Bunny. Murray also replaced Kevin Clash as Splinter in the non-Henson Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: Turtles in Time.
