Although warned by Majut, Jasad wanted to attack before Starfleet reinforcements could arrive, no matter the cost. Jasad later ordered his ships to attack Deep Space 9, inflicting severe damage on the station. Before Jasad could destroy the station, Dukat's ship came through the wormhole, towed by Benjamin Sisko aboard the USS Rio Grande. Jasad's starship and the other Cardassian ships left the area when the USS Enterprise-D arrived. (DS9 episode: "Emissary")
