| - Initial Notes About The Mix: I made this a long time ago -- it's actually a mixtape in the literal sense. It was for a friend of mine in college, who was also a music geek (I believe his minor was music, or maybe he was doing a double major with Music as one of them, either way), although I figured I'd make him a mix of a bunch of stuff that I liked. So, in a way, this is a snapshot of my musical tastes circa 1999. Apologies for the absolutely awful mix title; I considered changing it for here, but I don't know to what. Anyway, I was basically a neophyte Frank Zappa fan and thought the whole talk like the Kingfish thing was hilarious, and... yeah. It didn't help that I was a relatively new member to the Church, and was a little bit of a "Bob"bie, then, too. Eccch.

At the top, I also wrote "Additional Texts: Primus, Type O Negative, The B-52s, God Ween Satan by Ween, Pizzicato 5, Barnes & Barnes, The Mr. T Experience, The Dead Milkmen, Edgard Varése, Igor Stravinsky, Frank Chickens, Oingo Boingo, Bonzo Dog Band." Awful title aside, I still think it's a pretty good mix, though, there's some stuff on here I'd probably end up cutting, particularly some of the more novelty-y stuff that ends up wearing a few times through. I liked the mix enough, though, to take it with me to work that summer and basically listen to it, looped, every day for 6 hours. Tracklisting: Side A: 1.
