  • RC-6688, nicknamed Wonka, was a veteran clone commando sharpshooter and medic of the Galactic Republic during the clone wars. He belonged to the Special Operations Brigade of the Grand Army of the Republic. As one of the few troopers who wasn't immediately assigned to a squad, Woka served the Old Republic in many operations and assignments during the war, being a part of many different armies with various roles. Having travelled in numerous locations across the galaxy, he was one of the few clones to have taken part and survived in so many operations at this period. Like any other clone, Woka was born and raised in a training facility on Kamino. His military career began in the battle of Geonosis where started gaining reputation after completing a dangerous assignment. Four months later, he suffered his first serious injuries in the battle of Muunilinst, where he lost his right leg by a mine. After Muunilist, and despite his previous injuries, he was taking more and more riskful tasks, as he was considered a veteran soldier by this time, always completing them with success. In the last months of the war, Woka was honoured with the Hero of the Republic, one of the highest decorations that a soldier of Republic could receive. Instead of becoming a living paradigm for the next generations, Woka unfairly found his death on one of the last battles of the war in Kashyyyk, where he was fatally hit by an antipersonnel rocket, dying a few hours later. The contribution of RC-1257 became widely known many years later, after the fall of the Galactic Empire, when officers of the New Republic, retrieved his profile information from an old database in an abandoned facility in Utapau. His name, as well as any recorded battle history, was included in the Museum of fallen heroes, a museum made for the fallen heroes of the Old Republic and the Alliance to restore the Republic in Coruscant. The description of Woka by others is varied. Some refer him as a soldier with an uncommon braveness on the battlefield and a passion to fight against the Confederation forces that helped him survive from many missions that he should have normally died. A commando who never retreated in a battle, always staying in the first line. For others, however, Woka was a cold, lethal and silent sharpshooter who was never missing a single shot, giving to the rest of the squad an unfamiliar sense of safety.
