| - Daria Nekros was born on Juoi in 6 BBY. She was born on the Stoni continent, in one of the coastline settlements. Her mother's family owned and operated a fishery that was one of the largest businesses in their settlement, while her father was a manager at one of the mining operations further away from the coastline of the continent. Daria's family wasn't incredibly wealthy, but they were decently well off. The young girl had a two older siblings to play with and between her two older sisters and her parents, Daria didn't want for much as she grew up. Her father worked long hours and wasn't able to be at home all the time, but this was alright with Daria. One of Daria's favorite memories is sitting with her family and watching holodramas together, and she was old enough to properly watch the Battle of Juoi in 3 BBY. As she got older, she was enrolled in school, and began to study and learn. She also began to learn all about the Leidias Family and the great things that they had done for Juoi and for the people of the colony. She found a great deal of respect for Tulsar Leidias, wanting to be like him and help people while also upholding the law. No one in her family knew that Daria was actually Force sensitive and neither did she. As she continued onwards in life, Daria found her wish to be a Jedi replaced with her wish to be part of the JSI. She found their dedication to following the law and punishing those who would break it and endanger the lives of innocents to be something that she respected greatly. It became even more important for her when she was eight years old. In 2 ABY, her parents were killed during a drive by shooting. The perpetrators were later found to be miners who were disgruntled with some of the problems of the mining operation and who felt that Daria's father wasn't doing the best job that he could, and wasn't keeping the needs of the workers forefront in his mind. They felt that he was opting to be more on the side of corporate, instead of helping them keep their jobs and help them provide for their families. Daria watched as the JSI went to work to find her parents' killers. She and her two older sisters went to live with their maternal grandparents and a few short months later, Daria was able to watch the trial of the two miners who had decided to take things into their own hands. It helped Daria decide on her lifelong goal and dream, to join up and become a JSI officer.
