| - For a very long time, the Kartanin point of view was that the Frenna were barbarians, simple as that. They don't care about honour, about culture, all they are interested in is their personal gain. When the Empire conquered them, they just recently developed effective space travel, and were still busy trying to blow themselves apart. Military occupation of their homeworld had endured for centuries, and though hostilities had cooled down to arrogance or mere disrespect, their relationship to their feline overlords had still been difficult, and multiple uprisings occured during the past decades - the most bloody of them being the Srana Rebellion. However, when the Temple of the Voice relieved the High Council from many of its privileges, the Frennan government openly supported the Temple - for its own benefit mostly, as many Kartanin would say in secret - and even stopped a rebellious noble trying to organize resistance against the Voica. In return, military occupation was lifted by the Temple, and the Frenna were accepted as regular members of the Dominion. Still, some Frenna see their own government as traitors due to this, and still vehemently oppose their ties to the Kartanin.
