Beet the Vandel Buster The Abridged Series was created in Summer 2008 by XBeetxAbridgedX. Having read all the Beet the Vandel Buster manga, until the manga was put on hiatus, XBeetX switched to watching the newly founded anime Beet the Vandel Buster. Having fallen in love with the individual characters, the over all story/theme, and the animation of series, XBeetX decided to take a go at making an abridged series. In the begining, XBeetX has admitted that he started to abridge BVB because the anime/manga went on hiatus and he wanted to give them both some sort of ending. After posting his episode one, XBeetX was unsatisfied with the over all episodes, took it done to redo it after posting his episode two. Asking his good friend ZeroMaster to rate his abridge series on the Abridge Alliance

Asking his good friend ZeroMaster to rate his abridge series on the Abridge Alliance forums, upon recieving a three out of ten the first time around, he decided to take a look back at his first three episode and give them some serious thought about how to convey his humor better the audiance. Shortly after this event, XBeetX started to edit random videos to help improve his editing skills untill he thought he his editing skills, as well as his medicore voice acting skills were satisfactory to himself. Throughout the six episodes, the main female lead role of Poala has been passed around to three people. DeathNoteL12 was the first Poala. Frickninja was asked to be Poala later on during the course of the series, due to the fact that XBeetX wanted to get an actual female to play the lead female role. Jolonomomo was asked to be the third and hopefully final Poala, due to the fact that FrickNinja had many a lines to record and wanted to help relieve the burden of recording more lines. The series is currently composed of six episode and two redone episodes.
